Tubelite ForceFront Storm (FFS) 400T Curtainwall system

by Architectural Framing Systems

The Tubelite ForceFront Storm (FFS) 400T Curtainwall system has been enhanced to combine verified hurricane impact-resistance with updated thermally broken design. Meeting both the Florida Building Code’s impact and cycling requirements and High Velocity Hurricane Zone Wind Zone 3, the curtainwall system is available as either a captured (wet-glazed) or silicone-glazed system that assist in streamlining fabrication and simplifying installation, and frame system depths now range from 8 1/6 to 10 9/16 inches. To achieve its high-thermal performance, it incorporates a thermally broken, closed-tongue design with an EPDM isolator between the interior and exterior framing members.

Natural FX Coatings

by The Bryer Company

For the building of a new elementary school in Seattle, the aim was to create an urban oasis, and the use of materials, like flush metal panels from The Bryer Company, support the intention of eliminating boundaries between the natural landscaping and the building. The palette for the exterior cladding materials—22-gauge TBC Flush Panels in FX Desert Rust and PVDF Dark Bronze—deliver an earthy and warm tone that helps the school blend in with the surrounding mature tree groves. With the project as a showcase for the company’s Natural FX Coatings, the single-skin metal siding features a multi-coat finish that is an advancement in print pattern technology, allowing patterns of unparalleled detail and subtle depth.

Carnegie Xorel on Skyfold

by Carnegie and Skyfold

Addressing the growing demand for adaptable spaces that maintain sound integrity, Carnegie and Skyfold announce a partnership, Carnegie Xorel on Skyfold, that integrates the durability and acoustic transparency of Xorel with Skyfold’s advanced movable walls. The operable wall partitions help contribute to meeting LEED v5 criteria and reduce embodied carbon, offering a sustainable, high-performance solution ideal for corporate offices, educational instituations and public venues. To meet specific aesthetic and functional requirements for customized environments, the collaboration includes access to an array of Xorel’s colors and patterns that are pre-approved for application on the Vertically Folding Retractable Walls.

Valera RXT flooring

by ECOsurfaces

Designed to elevate high-traffic commercial spaces with enhanced safety, acoustics and ergonomic support, Valera RXT flooring, the latest surface in the Rx line, offers a realistic wood visual plank format with variation among planks in 12 colors. It features a 2mm vinyl surface layer fusion bonded to 3mm vulcanized composition rubber base layer using TRU technology, a process where the base layer works to absorb force while giving energy back to the body. The flooring is manufactured in the U.S. and available through supply partner Spartan Surfaces.

PAC-CLAD 7/8-inch Corrugated panels

by Petersen, a Carlisle Company

Success leads to growth, as was the case for Omega Yeast when the purchase of a residential lot behind its original storefront led to the addition of a custom research and production space. To help the facility fit within a context that’s both urban and residential, designers opted for PAC-CLAD 7/8-inch Corrugated panels in .032-gauge aluminum to create a clean-lined exterior where the panels delineate the interior space dedicated to labs and production. Used as architectural wall panels in Matte Black and Bone White for this project, the versatile exposed-fastener panels can also be used for roofs and linear applications and come in a Kynar-based 70% PVDF Fluropon coating in 50 standard colors.

VanAir Dual Channel Door

by VanAir

For applications requiring maximum passive air circulation, the VanAir Dual Channel Door delivers increased airflow the equivalent of a 15- by 15-inch louver with the benefit of aesthetics and acoustic performance. The ventilated interior door can assist with creating healthy living and working environments as well as tempering heat in mechanical, server, laundry and media rooms. Air travels from two ventilation slots on the front of the door through to the core, and a double-wide, vertical slot on the back of the door completes a Y-shaped air channel within the door’s core. Suitable for hinged, pocket, double door and sliding applications, the interior door is designed to fit standard 1¾- and 1 3/8-inch door openings.

FireLITE Type X Lightweight Drywall Panel

by CertainTeed

Designed to meet stringent fire safety codes, the FireLITE Type X Lightweight Drywall Panel consists of a noncombustible fire-resistant Type X gypsum core enclosed in a 100% recycled ivory-colored face paper and strong liner back paper. Aiming to enhance safety, efficiency and ease of installation, the interior drywall panel not only offers fire resistance of up to four hours in various wall assemblies but also is 10% lighter than standard 5/8-inch Type X drywall options. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified and integrates seamlessly with the company’s other existing systems for a complete interior construction experience.

AirJet Shower Drying System

by AIRMADA

The AirJet Shower Drying System expands to now be equipped with AirJet Linear, along with round Nozzles, to bring forced air into the shower to remove moisture from surfaces and all corners, minimizing the risk of slippery floors and preventing the growth of mold. Slim and minimal, AirJet Linear installs flush to the shower walls to ensure a smooth surface; placement is recommended along the bottom of the wall for traditional showers plus along the ceiling for those with steam capabilities. It is available in eight finishes as well as custom options.

Pattern 1WND from Rigidized Metals

by Sheet Metal Supply and Rigidized Metals

When creating a flexible showroom—the space can flip from a series of lounge settings to a 100-seat even space—as a gathering place for its team, clients and community, Workplace Resource sought to make the ceiling an element that helped define the very open space. The solution was stainless steel “pebbled” rolled metal sheets, Pattern 1WND from Rigidized Metals, that offered high reflectivity and texture, and Sheet Metal Supply fabricated the flat panels into the ceiling tile for the project. The 48-inch-wide textured stainless steel became 45-inch panels that custom attachments connect to the Armstrong Heavy Duty Grid. Between Rigidized Metals being a domestic manufacturer and Sheet Metal Supply fabricating the panels, the lead time for the project saw improvement by weeks, and their collaboration sought to ensure smooth installation and efficient use of material.

Sustainable Sloan Restroom Products

by Sloan

Built with the vision of being a sustainable, visitor-friendly venue for basketball games, concerts and events, Intuit Dome, home of the NBA’s LA Clippers, partnered with Sloan for reliable, water-efficient restroom solutions that integrate into the arena’s contemporary style.
