Sarnafil Self-Adhered Feltback Membrane (SAFB)
by Sika Corporation
The Sarnafil Self-Adhered Feltback Membrane (SAFB) was developed for customers who desire a VOC-free, adhered roofing solution but prefer a membrane with felt for a smoother appearance. Ideal for steep slope roof applications due to its peel-and-stick installation, the SAFB membrane’s absence of VOCs and odors also make it ideal for use on projects involving occupied spaces sensitive to fumes, such as schools and universities, biomedical facilities, and food and beverage manufacturing. This launch aims to make single-ply commercial roofing systems safter, faster and easier for the applicator to install.

1600UT SS Curtain Wall System
by Kawneer
As an expansion of the company’s curtain wall framing product portfolio, the 1600UT SS Curtain Wall System achieves an overall system U-factor of 0.29 while using standard 1-inch glass/COG 0.24 or an overall system U-factor of 0.24 with 1-foot glass/COG 0.20 for markets with additional thermal needs. Combining the performance attributes of other systems—the 1600UT System with 1 Curtain Wall and 1600 SS Curtain Wall System—this system incorporates a semi-unitized frame construction that meets the latest seismic standards, inside or outside glazed framing options and a 2½-inch sightline. Three standard infill options are available to meet additional acoustical requirements.
COASTALUME
by DuPont
Standing up to environmental challenges, COASTALUME resists damage from salt spray and chemical exposure, plus proves resistant to corrosion on its exposed edges compared to similar materials. The maintenance-free roofing and siding offering brings together U.S. Steel’s GALVALUME with DuPont Tedlar PVC film to suit residential and commercial projects, especially in coastline areas. Designed to withstand hurricane-force winds up to 140 mph as well as resist hail and other impacts, the standing seam roofing and wall systems is available with several warranties, including coverage for roofing and siding products installed up to 300 feet from breaking surf.

Solarban R77 and R90 glass windows
by Vitro Architectural Glass
As the first on-site hotel at Nashville International Airport, the architects and contractor of the 14-story Hilton had to navigate following stringent FAA regulations and coordinate construction schedules with airport authorities, but beyond the construction itself, the project needed to manage the noise levels from the nearby planes and so selected Solarban R77 Optiblue glass windows inside precast concrete panels for the project. Because the architectural precast concrete panels feature acoustical and blast-resistant characteristics, the pairing with the Solarban R77 Optiblue glass windows also provided the hotel with solar control and a soft silver-blue aesthetic. In addition to the prefabricated units—which provide visible light transmittance of 34% and offer a solar heat gain coefficient of 0.21—the hotel curtainwall utilized Solarban 90 glass for its solar control performance that keeps travelers comfortable.
ORENgE x ElectroShade
by GO OPV and MechoShade Systems
The ORENgE x ElectroShade is a motorized rolling printed semiconductor shade that incorporates commercial National Electric Code industry standards for delivering Class 2 direct DC zero emission power and light absorption to reduce carbon footprint from heat gain reduction. A collaboration between GO OPV and MechoShade Systems, the shade allows users to operate it with self-powering ORENgE printed semiconductor films, and the energy generated by the film can be converted into zero emission power that can run not only the motorized roller shades but broader facility lighting and other peripherals. Its semi-transparent design also allows for reduced glare and reduction of solar gain with the absorption of visible and near infrared light.
Wilsonart TFL panels, Compact Laminate
by Wilsonart
While the 3Zero3 has become the world’s first net-zero residential high rise thanks to sustainable engineering and design practices, it also sought to provide its tenants with functional living spaces that feel clean and modern—and Wilsonart Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL), Compact Laminate and Quartz surfaces helped the project deliver on both fronts. Becoming a blank canvas for residents while ensuring durability, the TFL panels in Grey Elm, delivering a modern woodgrain appearance, were used on walls. Compact Laminate—a USDA Biobased-certified solution and Declare label-certified choice—in Whiter Carrara was utilized as kitchen backsplashes. The warm gray branching vein structure of North Cascades from Wilsonart Quartz became the choice for countertops and a coffee table island as it resists stains, abrasions, scratches and chips.
