New resort-style luxury apartment complex opens at the Platinum Triangle in Orange County, Calif.
IRVINE, CALIF. - Award-winning KTGY GROUP, INC., Architecture and Planning, is pleased to announce the opening of the resort-style 1818 Platinum Triangle luxury apartment homes in Anaheim, Calif. Designed by KTGY and developed by Houston, Texas-based The Hanover Company, 1818 Platinum Triangle is located in the heart of Platinum Triangle, an 820-acre mixed-use development surrounding Angel Stadium and Honda Center; and is a vibrant and emerging pedestrian- and transit-friendly luxury urban apartment community that provides the discriminating amenities of a boutique hotel combined with the design and comfort of a stylish modern home.
Situated on the corner of State College and Katella in Anaheim, the 1818 S. State College Boulevard development adds to the vibrant community forming in the city’s designated Platinum Triangle planning area. When completed this area will consist of nearly 20,000 residential units, five million square feet of retail, and 15 million square feet of office space; all served by the mass transit intermodal station known as “ARTIC.”
The 1818 Platinum Triangle apartment community is a podium-style, five-story building with subterranean parking featuring 265 one- and two-bedroom units. Residents can select from a variety of floor plans, all with open layouts, terraces or balconies. The one-bedroom, one-bath units range in size from 758 sq. ft. - 928 sq. ft. The two-bedroom, two-bath units range in size from 1,213 sq. ft. – 1,328 sq. ft. Each home features expansive living and dining areas, spacious master suites and generous, well-appointed gourmet kitchens. Courtyard-facing terraces, built-in bookshelves and computer niches are available in select residences.
“1818 is all about clean lines, high-end finishes and amenities including a ‘Rooftop Sky Lounge’ with a resort-style heated pool, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, grilling area and dining lanais,” said KTGY’s David Senden, principal and the lead designer of the project.
“1818 Platinum Triangle homes offer an unrivaled level of sophistication,” added Senden. The apartment homes feature dramatic living spaces with high ceilings, hardwood flooring, sleek-lined solar shades and custom-color accent walls. The spacious bedrooms will easily accommodate a king-sized bed and offer extra-large walk-in closets. The spa-inspired bathrooms feature custom framed mirrors, marble slab countertop and sumptuous soaking tubs. Open-concept gourmet kitchens include granite slab countertops, custom European-style cabinetry, under mount sinks with travertine backsplashes and stainless steel appliances.
The multi-level resident clubhouse with a welcoming street-level lobby features a media lounge with billiards, HDTV and dedicated multi-media gaming room with Sony PlayStation and Wii, Wi-Fi Internet and e-lounge. There is a private screening room with surround-sound and leather club seating, a Great Room with a catering kitchen, dining room and private club-style library with fireplace, executive conference room with corporate office amenities, state-of-the art fitness center, three lushly landscaped courtyards with soothing water features, conversational seating and double-sided fireplace, private, dual-entrance parking garage with controlled entry access.
“The 1818 Platinum Triangle development is but a small piece of the larger picture for ARTIC, but as one of the initial residential developments, it sets the stage for what is to come and keeps the bar high,” Senden noted.
