Brasfield & Gorrie was recently named the design-builder for a new steel processing facility for Kloeckner Metals, one of the leading metal distributors in North America. Located in Calvert, Ala., the project is anticipated to be complete in 2013.
“The steel industry has a vital impact on the economy and our community,” said Steven Manown, Vice President and Division Manager at Brasfield & Gorrie. “We are honored to be a part of a project that will provide significant opportunities for the local community.”
The construction will take place on a 16-acre greenfield site at ThyssenKrupp Industrial Park in Calvert.
