The Owner, President, and General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, along with Dallas entrepreneur Rob Wechsler, recently launched Blue Star Accelerator, an accelerator and investment venture for early stage businesses in the technology, sports, and entertainment industries. The program will be housed at The Star, the mixed-use development that acts as the Dallas Cowboys Corporate World Headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

The program will give hand-selected companies managerial support, operational guidance, targeted marketing for social and digital platforms, curated mentorship, and access to capital from two industry leaders all under one roof. “We are constantly looking to innovate, evolve and utilize our resources in the most effective way possible. Rob Wechsler is the ideal entrepreneur to partner with us to bring the vision of Blue Star Accelerator to life. We see this residence incubator program as a perfect match for what we are doing with our headquarters and our business as a whole,” Jones said in a press release.

The program is currently accepting applications from companies through Jan. 15, 2017. Any applicants that are chosen will be invited to present their company to the Jones family, company executives, Wechsler, and other potential investors. Companies that are selected will then take residence at The Star.

More information can be found on the program’s website.
