Grab your headphones and a big high-def monitor and check out "Beyond: Memoirs in a Time Lapse." Based on two years' worth of time-lapse shooting in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the 7+ minute video "relates the seemingly limitless power of human imagination to create and transform," according to artist Beno Saradzic.

The original musical score by Vladimir Persan reinforces the monumental cinematic vibe of the piece, which includes such images as the active facade of Al Bahr Towers in motion, and the play of light on the Burj Khalifa. Shipping, transit, construction, and changing weather and light conditions are major themes of the piece.
