Yeti, a fast-growing outdoor brand, recently opened its new global headquarters in Austin, Texas. The 175,000-sf complex comprises two 87,500-sf buildings.

Staying true to the company’s mission, the headquarters complex eschews the traditional corporate vibe and instead attempts to evoke the outdoors through amenities such as cornhole sets, hammocks, barbecue and fire pits, and an outdoor band stage/workplace.

Interior materials include hand-tooled leather, raw steel, recycled inner tubes, and worn denim materials meant to bring the brand lifestyle to life throughout the space. Kebony wood was used for the decking for the open-air terrace and employee lounge.

The use of local craftsmanship, low VOC paint, and LED lighting helped the headquarters achieve its sustainability goals.

Gensler was the architect for the project and TBG Partners was the landscape architect.
