Excavation is finished on The West Edge, a $100 million mixed-use development on 2.4 acres in Kansas City, Mo. Designed by Moshe Safdie and Associates, Somerville, Mass., the project features 203,000 sf of leasable office space, a 128-room boutique hotel, 27,000 sf of retail and restaurant space, the Advertising Icon Museum, a 1,000-space underground parking garage, and a 261-seat multipurpose auditorium. The Building Team includes Pathway Development Co., J.E. Dunn Construction, and Gould Evans Associates. Opening is scheduled for fall 2007.
