Zak Schooley, Lauren Gilmarten, and Julio Cruz discuss new design concepts for typical apartment units, common open spaces, fitness centers, and community mailrooms and office spaces to make them safer and healthier for tenants and visitors.

Historic preservation and adaptive reuse trends, with Ruth Todd, FAIA
John Caulfield interviews Ruth Todd, FAIA, Principal and President of Page & Turnbull, whose historic preservation work was recently honored by the California Preservation Foundation. Ruth discusses how her firm got into historic preservation, and provides insight into four notable projects that include developing plans for the city of Sacramento.
