Waldorf Astoria Miami will become the tallest tower south of Manhattan

The supertall tower will include a hotel and residences.

Rising 1,049 feet and 98 stories into the south Florida sky, the new Waldorf Astoria Miami will become Miami’s first supertall tower and the tallest tower south of Manhattan. Carlos Ott, with the help of Sieger Suarez, is designing the project.

The design is conceived as a stack of glass cubes, one on top of the other, in slightly different positions.The tower will comprise a hotel and open-concept residences with views Biscayne Bay, the Port of Miami, Brickell Avenue, Downtown Miami, Key Biscayne, and South Beach.

Units will be offered in studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom options ranging from 873 sf to 3,256 sf. Studios are located in cube 4 above level 40, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units in cube 5 above level 50, and four-bedroom units in cube 6 above level 60. The hotel will occupy the bottom cubes of the tower. Amenities will include a pool, a spa, a gym, recreation areas, multiple dining options, parcel receiving and delivery to residences, and valet parking.

PMG and Greybook Realty Parters are developing the project.
