USGBC Florida Chapter survey to help contractors adopt sustainable practices

USGBC Florida Chapter survey to help contractors adopt sustainable practices

September 11, 2013

Contractors in Florida could benefit from a data collection project by the state's chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. The group hopes its survey will help the state's construction industry share best practices “to build meaningful, efficient buildings—not just buildings that meet code,” says Taylor Ralph, the chapter chairman.Commonly, Ralph says he sees expertise in green building among certain trades, but it’s usually specific to systems, and less often a broad understanding about efficient methods for a project as a whole.
