An updated APA Engineered Wood Construction Guide, Form E30, is now available.
First published in 1962, the guide has become the authoritative document on building engineered wood floors, walls, and roofs, according to an APA, The Engineered Wood Association, news release.
The 100-page document features information on engineered wood products and recommendations for their use in a wide range of applications in residential and commercial construction. It includes illustrations and information on typical specifications for engineered wood products and design recommendations for floor, wall, and roof systems, diaphragms, shear walls, fire-rated systems, and finishing methods.
A free electronic copy of the guide may be downloaded, or a printed format may be purchased for $12 from http://www.apawood.org/resource-library.
