Turner Construction Company and Clark Builders have established a partnership that will increase the capacity of each company to provide construction services to clients in the Canadian marketplace.
Clark Builders now has access to additional financial and management resources that will provide a platform for expanding its services. The partnership provides Turner with a 51% stake in Edmonton-based Clark, which augments Turner’s current operations in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada.
Established in 1974, Clark Builders is owned by employees of the company, who continue to hold 49 percent of its shares. Clark specializes in the construction of institutional, commercial, industrial, recreational, and multi-unit residential facilities. With a workforce of more than 700, Clark Builders generated annual sales of CAD 492 million in 2010. BD+C
