Trump releases top-floor one bedroom condos in Chicago Tower

Trump releases top-floor one bedroom condos in Chicago Tower

August 11, 2010

As construction nears completion at Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago, new one-bedroom homes on the landmark building’s 72nd through 85th floors have been released for purchase. These residences will mark the highest one-bedroom homes in the city when the building is finished. The homes measure 1,314 square feet and face northwest, offering city skyline and sunset views.

“Typically, the highest floors of a building are reserved for the largest units,” said Leah Harriett, sales manager for Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. “But because we’re finding that many interested buyers at Trump International Hotel and Tower want a home for an in-town or part-time residence, we have now included a one-bedroom plan on our most coveted floors.”

Harriett added that because the plan is especially large for a one-bedroom home and have features including a powder room in addition to a master bath and plenty of storage, they are perfect for a primary residence, too.

“These are graciously designed homes that are just as well-suited for hosting a cocktail party as enjoying a quiet night alone relaxing in your master suite retreat,” she said. “And because these residences are located on the highest floors in the entire city, you’ll enjoy unparalleled views.”

The main living area includes an entry foyer with a coat closet and a combined living and dining room, which is open to a kitchen that features a preparation island. The home also includes a laundry closet with side-by-side washer and dryer, a storage closet, powder room and linen closet.

Tucked away from the main living area is the master suite, which opens into a sitting area surrounded by two walk-in closets. Adjacent to the sitting area is the master bath, which has a dual-bowl vanity, whirlpool tub and separate shower. The master suite’s sleeping area has its own entrance off the sitting area.

Both the living room and master suite have western views from floor-to-ceiling windows, highlighting the Chicago River to the south and the city skyline to the west. Harriett noted the homes will have captivating sunset views. “These homes will be bathed in the soft glow of our beautiful Chicago sunsets. And from this height, you won’t miss a single moment of it.”

All residences include a full package of luxury features, including gourmet kitchens with Snaidero Italian cabinetry and Miele, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances; luxury master baths with limestone floors and walls, custom vanities and Kohler fixtures; 10-foot ceilings; and hardwood floors.

According to Harriett, residents of Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago enjoy an unequalled lifestyle, with fine dining, a sophisticated lounge and a world-class spa and fitness center all within the building.

Five-star Sixteen has received numerous accolades since opening earlier this year. Located on the 16th floor, the signature restaurant boasts 30-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a chandelier with more than 19,000 individual crystals.

Rebar , the cocktail lounge located on the second floor, offers views of the river and is a popular nightlife spot.

Residents will also enjoy the building’s state-of-the-art fitness center, which includes a 75-foot indoor pool, with views of the city, Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. Light fare is available poolside from the menu offered at The Spa at Trump. Featuring 11 treatment rooms, the recently opened spa is the largest for a hotel or condominium building in the city.

For buyers considering a purchase at Trump International Hotel and Tower, Harriett suggests taking a “test drive” by booking a night or two in the hotel to experience the lifestyle, views and amenities. “Where else do you have the advantage of being able to spend the night in your future residence before you purchase?” she asked.

Located on the Chicago River, between Michigan and Wabash Avenues, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago includes 486 tower condominiums and 339 hotel condominiums. With construction nearing top off, more than 135 hotel condominiums have already closed at Trump International Hotel & Tower. First move-ins for the residential condominiums are expected to begin this fall. Measuring 580 to over 6,800 square feet, homes at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago are priced from approximately $580,000 to more than $9 million.

Located on floors 29 through 89 – the highest residential floor in the western hemisphere – residential condominiums include studios, one- to three-bedroom plans and four-bedroom-plus penthouses. Located on floors 17 through 27M, the hotel condominiums include studio, one- and two-bedroom guest suites.

While both residential and hotel condominiums have access to all the services and amenities offered at Trump International Hotel & Tower, the residential condominiums have their own lobby and a private set of elevators, separate from hotel guests.
