The 18,884-sf Collegiate Center addition to Thomas Edison Prepatory High School, Tulsa, Okla., has a floating cantilever study lounge. Two multipurpose rooms double as FEMA-361 safe rooms that can each protect up to 600 persons from winds up to 240 mph. The $4.4 million addition provides 15 distinct spaces. The $21.2 million, three-story building will offer 36 one-bed/bath units (773 sf) and 13 two-bed/bath units (1,025 sf) on a 2.6-acre site.
