Thornton Tomasetti’s Poon named to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s Board of Trustees

Thornton Tomasetti Vice Chairman Dennis C.K. Poon, P.E. has been named to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s Board of Trustees. During his 30-plus years of experience, Poon has been responsible for the design and construction of super high-rise structures, mixed-used buildings, hotels, airports, arenas and residential buildings worldwide.
High on the list of his accomplishments is the role he played in leading the structural engineering team for the design of Taipei 101 in Taiwan, and currently China’s two tallest buildings now under construction, Shanghai Tower measuring 623m, and Ping An International Finance Center measuring 660m.
