In a typical commercial installation, annual HVAC and lighting energy consumption is reduced by 20 percent while HVAC peak load is reduced by 25 percent.

View has established direct sales and distribution networks in the United States and is expanding internationally. View will showcase its large-scale dynamic glass for the first time at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, the world’s largest conference dedicated to innovation in green building design, set to take place Nov 14–16 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. View Dynamic Glass is also installed and operating at W San Francisco adjacent to the show.

Foundation tightens HMC Architects bond with local communities
Founded in 2009 with an initial endowment of $1.9 million, HMC’s nonprofit Designing Futures Foundation (DFF) has donated about $230,000 in its three years of existence, including $105,000 in scholarships to California students. The grants help promising high schoolers with an interest in architecture, design, engineering, education, or healthcare pay for expenses like test preparation services, computers, and college entrance exam fees and tuition. The scholarships can be extended for up to five years of college.
