Skanska USA and Moss & Associates wer awarded an $80 million contract to expand and renovate the Greenville-Spartanburg Internat

A joint venture of Skanska USA and Moss & Associates was awarded an $80 million contract to expand and renovate the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport terminal in South Carolina.

The multi-phase terminal improvement program consists of an overall expansion to the airport’s footprint and major renovations to the existing airport terminal. These renovations will improve overall passenger flow and upgrade the airport to meet recently enhanced Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standards for security and processing.

Work will begin in December 2011 and is slated to complete in June 2014. As construction manager at-risk, Skanska Moss is responsible for all preconstruction, construction management and post-construction services. The program also includes temporary facilities, multiple and phased tenant relocations and baggage handling improvements. BD+C
