Developers have released plans for a 1,066-foot building in downtown Brooklyn. The New York Times reports that the 73-story apartment tower at 9 DeKalb Avenue will be the borough’s first supertall building and will be nearly twice as high as any other tower near it.

Designed by SHoP Architects, the tower will incorporate the Brooklyn Dime Savings Bank into the base of the property. The new tower’s features will play off of the old bank: a bronzed glass facade will highlight the bank’s limestone columns. Curbed NY reports that the bank building is landmarked, and the project needs approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission.

The tower will offer 500 rental units, and 100 of them will be considered affordable.

SHoP also designed Barclays Center, a multipurpose arena in Brooklyn.
