Shepley Bulfinch opens San Francisco office

Feb. 7, 2012

National architecture firm Shepley Bulfinch has announced the opening of a new office in San Francisco, which will be led by healthcare design leader Peter Schlosser, AIA, who has joined the firm as principal.

This expansion establishes a physical presence that builds on a portfolio of work for institutional clients on the West Coast, dating to the development of the original Stanford University campus in 1891. In recent years projects have included the design of an academic commons for Occidental College; three academic buildings for the University of California, Riverside; the central library for the city of Eugene, Oregon; and projects for the University of Southern California, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Cal Poly. This is the third office for Shepley Bulfinch, which established a presence in the Southwest in 2009 when it acquired Merzproject of Phoenix. BD+C
