Valencia College at Lake Nona’s innovative new $21.7 million Academic Building designed by SchenkelShultz Architecture achieved the 3 Green Globes certification presented by The Green Building Initiative. Opened in August as the satellite campus’s first building, the 88,821-sf project includes a state-of-the-art academic building and central energy plant that incorporated sustainable design standards.
Featuring the latest technologies, the three-story, academic facility includes academic spaces and teaching laboratories, student services, a book store, library, café, a Dean’s suite and administrative offices. +
