The Landmark @ One Market is San Francisco’s first structure certified by BREEAM USA in the existing buildings category.

Built in 1916, the structure was originally the headquarters for Southern Pacific Railroad. It was renovated in 1998 into a modern Class A office building.

The renovation preserved historic features including the grand façade. The distinctive building is located in San Francisco’s Financial District overlooking the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building, and San Francisco Bay.

BREEAM was developed in 1990 by BRE Global. Today BREEAM has more than 2,250,000 registered projects and over 565,000 certified buildings worldwide in more than 83 countries.
