Energy will be generated from directed biogas and onsite fuel cells. Bloom Energy's cells will generate a projected 5 million kilowatts of electricity annually, equivalent to about 1,000 homes. The fuel cells will convert methane to electricity, tapping methane in landfills and wastewater plants.
