RTKL, the global architecture, planning and design firm, announced that Lance Hosey AIA, LEED AP, author and recognized authority on green architecture and design, joined RTKL as Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President. Hosey, whose latest book, The Shape of Green: Aesthetics, Ecology and Design (Island Press, 2012), sets forth clear principles for the aesthetics of sustainable design, will direct RTKL’s strategic initiative in Performance-driven Design SM, a metric-focused approach to architecture, planning and urban design.
