Reclaimed wood paneling adds color to retail and hospitality projects

Colorburst panels are available in four stock options—Robin Egg Blue, Viridian Green, Haute Pink, and Cascade White—as well as custom colors.

By David Barista, Editorial Director | August 23, 2016

Looking for that one-of-a-kind rustic motif for your next retail or hospitality project? Add a splash of color with Colorburst reclaimed wood paneling.

The new line of color-infused wood panels is made from one of two sources: oak recycled from tractor-trailer truck decking or fir and pine salvaged from granary beams. The manufacturer, Viridian Reclaimed Wood, saturates the wood’s nooks, crannies, and holes with vibrant hues, creating deep, rich layers of color to add contrast to the vintage patina and wood grain. The FSC-certified panels are available in four stock options—Robin Egg Blue, Viridian Green, Haute Pink, and Cascade White—as well as custom colors.

The paneling is milled to a 3/8- to 5/8-inch thickness, five-inch width, and variable lengths from two to eight feet. Its hardness ranges from 450-1360 on the Janka scale, depending upon the source material.
