The recent rise in skyscrapers in the New York area has impacted several aspects of the construction industry.
The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat Journal has seen increases in luxury residential construction, slenderness aspect ratios and building in new, "fringe" locations like Brooklyn, Queens, and Jersey City.
The publication has an interactive map of tall New York buildings (at least 100 meters high) that are recently completed or under construction.
“The current boom demonstrates New York’s persistence as a magnet for capital, and its standing as the ultimate skyscraper laboratory over time,” the CTBUH said on its website.
