Flexible framing gives Cherokee Casino its winning design, floating clouds and all

Feb. 17, 2011

The new Cherokee Casino in West Siloam, Okla., features a design with lots of floating clouds between soffits and radius columns with light coves. To achieve the design’s many radius applications, Green Country Interiors, Tulsa, Okla., used 8,400 linear feet of Flex-C Trac and Flex-C Angle framing systems. The galvanized steel product can be curved by hand onsite, allowing the company to pre-make the necessary framing quickly and easily. Flex-C Trac is available in 16, 18, or 20 gauges in a variety of framing widths, and Flex-C Angle is available in 16 or 18 gauges. Flex Lite for light applications, Flex-C Plate for wood framing, and Flex-C Arch for wood or metal framing complete the Flex-C line.
