When Mortenson was charged with the 831,000-sf, 360-bed Exempla Saint Joseph Heritage Project in Denver, we found that a traditional, on-site linear building approach would have resulted in a schedule that did not meet the customer's needs.

To address the challenge, we leveraged prefabrication across all applicable components in the facility.

Below is an executive summary (the full report will be released soon) of the results from value-based cost-benefit analyses performed during this project on the most significant performance drivers for prefab (schedule, cost, and safety).

We are pleased to share these results with owners who are considering the merits and challenges of prefab, and we invite you to sign-up to be alerted when the full research report is available.
