The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed a new regulation, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, or I2P2, which would compel employers to find and fix safety hazards.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed a new regulation, Injury and Illness Prevention Program, or I2P2, which would compel employers to find and fix safety hazards. One private sector safety official notes that today safety training often surrounds a specific OSHA hazard, and neglects to consider hazard recognition and situational awareness. The new rule could change that mindset.
