The Ohio state Senate passed a resolution that requires state agencies to use American National Standards Institute standards rather than LEED v4 for publicly funded building projects.

The resolution specifically mentions LEED v4, and calls for the U.S. Green Building Council to conform to ANSI.

The resolution is not legally binding, and has not been voted on by the full assembly yet. However, most state agencies that are dependent on the legislature for their budgets comply with legislative resolutions.
