New York USGBC chapter to hold Urban Green Expo '09 on September 22-23

NEW YORK—May 27, 2009—The U.S Green Building Council of New York (USGBC) is holding their first annual URBAN GREEN EXPO ’09, Tuesday September 22 – Wednesday September 23, 2009. The location of the expo will be at Metropolitan Pavilion at the Altman Building, 125 West 18th Street, New York City. The expo has limited booth space available and companies who wish to exhibit should act quickly to reserve space.

The Urban Green EXPO is the Northeast’s premier educational green building conference and trade EXPO designed to meet the unique needs of the densely developed urban environment during a challenging economic time. The EXPO will bring together building professionals for top-level educational sessions, acclaimed speakers and green building tours. There will also be a keynote address by a pioneer of the sustainability movement, more than 30 individual educational sessions, off-site tours and LEED workshops including a farmers market in the center of the expo and a green garage inventors section. This event is set to bring together 2,000 of the premier green companies in the northeast for a two day educational conference and trade expo with over 100 exhibit booths. There is very limited space with only a select number of booths still available.  Participating in the conference will be a pioneer of the sustainability movement and a variety of high profile speakers are set to come together for educational sessions.
