A new 20-story, 338-unit luxury apartment community in Silver Spring Md., is about to welcome its first residents. Solaire 8250 Georgia Avenue spans 470,000 sf and includes three levels of below-grade secure parking.
In addition to the 338 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartment units, the development also includes 5,000 sf of amenity space that features a resort-style rooftop swimming pool and pool deck, a cafe with free WiFi, a private courtyard with grilling areas, a fitness center, and a residents’ club with a catering kitchen, library, indoor-outdoor fireplace, and game room.

The apartment units include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, wood flooring, large windows, and private balconies. The project will also activate the streetscape with 15,000 sf of new retail space. Lendlease is the project’s general contractor and Design Collective is the architect.
