New multifamily development rises in Summerville’s Nexton mixed-use community

The new complex offers easy access to I-26.

By David Malone, Associate Editor | April 3, 2019

Arrogate Village, a new multifamily development in the Nexton mixed-use community, will bring 264 apartments to Summerville, S.C., just north of Charleston.

The development will feature a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with wood plank flooring, custom cabinetry, walkin-in closets, and balconies. Select units will include sunrooms, built-in desks, double vanities, and attached garages.

Community amenities include a saltwater pool, a fitness and yoga studio, a pet spa, an outdoor kitchen and dining pavilion, a fire pit, a media center and conference room, a car wash, a package center, and a complimentary coffee bar.

Residents will have access to Nexton’s 10 miles of existing walking and biking trails that connect homes, parks, and offices to Nexton Square, a shopping and dining space that will open in June. Arrogate Village offers easy access to I-26 and major employers such as Mercedes Benz and Boeing. It is also a quick commute via 176 for those working at Volvo.
