The winners of the 2001 New Leader and 4-Most Leader awards of the National Association of Women in Construction, Detroit Chapter 183 are:

Kelly Taylor, director of marketing, Sachse Construction & Development, Corp., Farmington Hills, Mich., won the 2001 New Leader award.  Taylor is currently on the board of directors for the Detroit Chapter of NAWIC and has been a member since October 1999.

In addition to her involvement with NAWIC, Kelly also holds the position of vice president of membership - NACORE International. She is a member of Society for Marketing Professional Services and has been involved with CAM and on the AGC Marketing Committee from 2000-2001.

The 4-most leader award was presented to Nancy Marshall-Kozdron, vice president, Aluminum Supply Co. Inc., Detroit, Mich. Nancy currently serves as the Detroit Chapter president. She has been involved with NAWIC since 1987 and has been a member since 1998. Kozdron has been instrumental in providing strategic direction for the chapter, as well as providing leadership on such efforts as industry relations, membership recruitment, scholarship opportunities for tradeswomen, occupational research/referral for WBE's and programs.

In addition to her role within NAWIC, Kozdron is involved with Alternatives for Girls, NAWBO, The Glazing Contractors Association, CAM and the Michigan Roofing Contractors Association.
