Firm proposes skyscraper with a ‘twist’ in downtown Tulsa

Though still an early concept, the architects are confident it would become a reality. Renderings courtesy Kinslow, Keith & Todd.

Tulsa, Okla.-based architecture practice Kinslow, Keith & Todd released renderings of a skyscraper concept that takes the shape of a tornado, The Creators Project reports.

The firm developed the concept for a special report for TulsaPeople magazine, "Reimagining Downtown Tulsa."

Different levels of this cyclone-shaped tower would have terraces and observation decks. But the highlight of the building will be a weather museum, fitting for the world’s tornado capital.

The architects are still looking for investors to support the project, but the images have been getting a whirlwind of buzz online.
