A new mixed-use tower provides Miami with 180 workforce-housing units
The recently opened Fourteen Main Street Residences provides Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood with 180 attainable-luxury rental units.
Intended as workforce housing for Miami-Dade County, the $80 million mixed-use tower includes studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units ranging from 450 sf to 1,000 sf, with balconies in some units. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of both downtown Miami and Florida’s tree canopy.
Developed by Neology Group and designed by Behar Font, Fourteen Main Street transforms a formerly underused site. The 14-story building integrates with the surrounding single-family homes while introducing a modern aesthetic to the neighborhood.
Strategically located on NW 36th Street, which stretches from Miami Beach to the Everglades, Fourteen Main Street is within walking distance of the Allapattah Metrorail Station and a few minutes’ drive from Miami’s Health District and the Miami International Airport.
“We believe we’ve tapped into a development boom no one is paying attention to,” Lissette M. Calderon, founder and CEO of Neology Group, said in a statement. “As the leading operator in Miami and the Southeast delivering attainable luxury-grade communities designed for young working professionals and essential workers, our vertically integrated approach—spanning development, construction, and management—allows us to control costs while providing well-designed modern residences at accessible price points.”
The apartment features include quartz countertops, energy-efficient kitchen appliances, in-unit washers and dryers, and smart home technology adaptors.
In addition to curated original artwork, the building amenities include a 12,000-sf rooftop pool and clubhouse, poolside cabanas, coworking spaces, an outdoor movie screen, a fitness and wellness center with a yoga and cardio studio, a dog park with dog wash area, bike storage, smart package lockers, and a parking garage with electric car charging stations as well as a rideshare lobby.
The building is the first of two in the project, which also includes a five-story, 57-unit building with completion expected in the coming weeks.
