South Florida-based real estate development firm Newgard Development Group selected John Moriarty & Associates of Florida (JMAF) as general contractor for BrickellHouse, a 374-unit condominium tower in the heart of Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Construction of the 46-story development is schedule to get underway this summer and be completed in 2014.
BrickellHouse will offer condos ranging in size from studios and 1-, 2-, 3-bedroom units, to 7,000 sf penthouses. The $170 million development will include amenities including the Brickell area’s first members-only rooftop sky deck and pool located on the building’s 46th floor, a high-definition screening room, spa and fitness center, and wireless internet in all common areas. Residences will feature private balconies with expansive water views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami, gourmet kitchens, bathrooms with imported European cabinetry, and premium appliances and finishes. It will also be home to one of the nation’s first fully-automated robotic parking garages, which will yield significant convenience and security, as well as environmental benefits. BD+C
