Link at Douglas, a new seven-acre development, will transform Miami-Dade County’s Douglas Road Metrorail station into a mixed-use transit hub.

The project will be built in phases over the next five years and include 1,500 residential units with a workforce housing component, 25,000 sf of retail space, a 250,000 sf office building, and a public plaza that connects to The Underline, a 10-mile-long linear park that runs from Downtown Miami through neighborhoods to the south. The development’s mobility plan includes connectivity to Metrorail, County buses, and municipal trolleys.

Initial site work is now underway with the project’s first phase beginning this summer when the development’s first tower breaks ground in July. The 22-story tower, designed by Corwil Architects, will comprise 312 apartment units and 6,000 sf of retail. Then, in October, the development’s second tower will begin. This 36-story building is being designed by Arquitectonica and will include 421 apartment units and 17,000 sf of retail. About 100 of the two buildings’ 733 units will be designated as workforce housing units.

Adler Group and 13th Floor Investments are developing the project.
