Master Painter Institute approves 55 new paint products

Standards include low VOC emissions for better indoor air quality

The Master Painter Institute has issued approvals for 55 new paint products. These products meet the requirements for the institute's Extreme Green (X-Green) paint standard:

·         Maximum 50 grams pf volatile organic compounds (VOC) per liter

·         Trace or zero quantities of various undesirable chemical components

·         Performance that meets the requirements for the MPI number indicated

·         Certification of VOC emissions requirements for indoor air quality
