Skye on 6th, a 26-story luxury apartment tower, has broken ground in downtown Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row Arts District.

The 357,850-sf building will comprise 309 apartments, 6,500-sf of ground level retail space, and a 78,000-sf parking garage with 201 spaces. The wellness focused design features a fitness center with a sauna, a steam room, and an outdoor pool and spa. A dedicated co-working floor is also included.

Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, the building’s exterior cladding comprises floor-to-floor window wall and fly by EIFS panels. BIM is being used to coordinate all sit utility, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems around the post-tension and reinforced concrete structure.

Shepley Bulfinch designed the project and Clayco is building it. Hubbard Street Group is the project’s developer. The tower is slated for completion in summer 2023.
