This September, LEGO will expand its LEGO Creator Expert series with a 2,989-brick model of the iconic Sydney Opera House.

The kit challenges even the most ardent LEGO enthusiasts with applying advanced building techniques to re-create the Opera House's unmistakable rooflines, complex angled walls, and waterfront forecourt.

Priced at $319.99, the model scales 11 inches high, 25 inches wide, and 15 inches deep and sits on a large blue stud baseplate to replicate the harbor.

Available Sept. 1 at the LEGO store.

If the Opera House is beyond your LEGO skill set or price point, LEGO Architecture offers a smaller version of the iconic building for $39.99.
