The latest version of LEED, LEED v4.1 O+M, is now available for beta testing.
The new version is “an incremental update,” according to the U.S. Green Building Council. “LEED v4.1 will be our most inclusive and transparent platform to date,” the council says. It will allow projects to earn LEED points through building performance monitoring via the Arc platform.
Performance outcomes will be fully integrated into LEED v4.1 so that performance can be measured on an ongoing basis. Projects participating in the beta testing will receive support from USGBC’s Technical Core Team throughout the project.
The new version will track performance in energy, water, waste, transportation, indoor air quality, toxin free environment, and occupant satisfaction.
