As LEED standards continue to rise, the top level, LEED Platinum, will likely mean net-zero energy construction by 2018.

As LEED standards continue to rise, the top level, LEED Platinum, will likely mean net-zero energy construction by 2018; and by 2030, LEED Platinum will likely mean “regenerative” buildings, according to Dan Geiger, executive director, US Green Building Council (USGBC) – Northern California Chapter.
