The new headquarters for the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in Morristown, N.J., is on track to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, Lambertville, N.J., the $9.5 million building includes four floors of office space and an adjacent 791-space parking deck. Sustainable features include geothermal heating, underfloor air distribution, high-performance lighting systems, automated building controls, photovoltaics, a vegetated roof, and a biowall (pictured). The Building Team also salvaged steel beams and building materials from an Epstein's department store formerly located on the site. Two decorative wood walls featured in the Foundation's office space are made from reused material.
