SmithGroup Grabs 6 Awards at IIDA Southwest P.R.I.D.E Awards Banquet

June 11, 2009 —The Phoenix office of SmithGroup, one of the nation’s leading architecture, engineering, interiors and planning firms, was honored by the International Interior Design Association Southwest Chapter with six P.R.I.D.E. awards last month at an awards banquet held at Tempe Center for the Arts.
 
Award-winning projects include:
University of Arizona McClelland Park: Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences — Award of Merit (Education Category)
Taylor Place: Arizona State University Downtown Student Housing — Design Excellence Award (Education Category)
U.S. Arid-Land Agricultural Research Center — Award of Merit (Environmental Design)
Mesa Community College Saguaro Building at Red Mountain Campus — Design Excellence Award (On the Boards)
City of Avondale Old Town Library — Design Excellence Award (Public Facility)
City of Avondale Old Town Library — “Best of Show”
