A new ground-up, five-story residential building has broken ground in the heart of East Orange, N.J. Blue Onyx Companies is developing the project.
Dubbed 14 Summit, the 77,913-sf project includes 78 units split among eight studio apartments, 51 one-bedroom apartments, and 19 two-bedroom apartments. Amenities will include a coworking space, a fitness center, a pet washing station, a community lounge, two rooftop terraces, and bike storage rooms.
14 Summit offers easy access to the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 280. The site is located about a half-mile from Main Street, a major commercial corridor of the city; the East Orange train station; and 18 Summit, a 75 unit residential complex also developed by Blue Onyx.
14 Summit is expected to be completed by spring 2023.
