Populous-designed Buffalo Bills training center expansion will begin construction this fall

The Buffalo Bills are about to embark on an expansion project of the team’s ADPRO Sports Training Center. The expansion will add 25,000 sf and expand the facility’s strength and conditioning, sports science, and sports medicine departments.
The main part of the Populous-designed expansion will increase the size of the weight room, which is currently sandwiched between the ADPRO Sports Training Center fieldhouse and the administration building. The two-story addition will still connect to both of those buildings.

The new space allows for features such as sleep pods, float tanks, a yoga studio, and massage rooms to provide more individualized player care. The Bills estimate the sports medicine department alone will double in size with the expansion.
The training center expansion will be the new front door that greets players as they pull in to One Bills Drive. And speaking of players, the team hopes the updated facility will encourage them to stay in Buffalo for their offseason training while also making the team a more desirable location for free agents.
Terry and Kim Pegula, the Buffalo Bills' owners, have committed $18 million to the project, which will begin construction this fall with completion scheduled for early 2019.
