Storefront applications and site-fabricated commercial windows combined account for 54% of the non-residential market. Shop-fabricated commercial windows, which include residential and light commercial windows, as well as architectural windows, represent 23% of the market.
Curtain walls make up the remaining 23% of the non-residential vision area. All categories were up from 2015. The 2017 market for non-residential entry doors was up 6% over 2016 and up 12% since 2015. The estimate of total U.S. market for commercial unit skylights in 2017 was up 6% from 2015.
