Green infrastructure prominent in Akron, Ohio's sewer plans

City officials in Akron, Ohio want to prevent stormwater from entering its combined sewer system through the use of green infrastructure. Among the features being considered are the use of soils and plants as well as man-made structures such as cisterns and permeable pavement.
