Jan. 29, 2013

ELS Architecture and Urban Design announced it has hired Diana Banh as its new marketing and communications manager.

“Diana brings both passion and depth to her new role at ELS, and we look forward to her leadership strengthening and expanding our business development and communications efforts,” said Clarence D. Mamuyac, Jr., FAIA, principal of ELS.

Banh has eight years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations within the architecture industry in the Bay Area. In her new role, Banh will be responsible for executing the firm’s marketing, communications, and social media platforms, as well as serve as the firm’s media contact. She will work closely with the firm’s principals and associates in marketing, strategic planning, client relationship management, project pursuits, and communications/publicity for the firm.

Prior to ELS, Banh has held positions at Heller Manus Architects, Cannon Design, and Beverly Prior Architects. Banh received her Master’s degree in design strategy – with a focus on urban design and placemaking – from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design in 2010, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. +
